Crown the Empire is basically the perfect band for me. I like everything about them, from their visual aesthetic to both their rough and clean vocals and their incredible instrumentals. They are the definition of musical versatility. Somehow, many of their songs are able to change styles rapidly within a 4 minute time frame and still sound fantastic. I also love that all of their music is like one cohesive story, arching over their albums. While I'm listening to their alubms I get instantly pulled into this apocalyptic, dystopian world on the verge of a revolution. It's crazy, intense, beautiful, and inspirational all at the same time. No other band I've ever come across can do that.
